Cteddy

Teddy, despite being older than Marie, was always in her eyes a young child, so she couldn’t say she was entirely surprised to see her brother running out of the palais towards her. She quickly thanked the palais resident whom she had called on before briskly walking to meet her brother. “Teddy!!” Marie dropped her bags allowing herself to be spun around, laughing as her brother shared how to had missed her. “I missed you, dear brother,” She moved out of the hug putting her Hands on Teddy’s shoulders pressing a quick kiss to his cheek  “you have no idea how terribly lonely every day has been.” Marie looked him up and down checking that her was all in one piece, reassuring herself that he was standing in front of her once again. “ It’s been terribly long since I last saw you, have you been alright?” He was of course her brother, but also her best friend, and though they had exchanged letters, it still felt as though they hadn’t spoken in years.
