The reason I hate him is largely that, as a character, he sticks out like a sore thumb amongst everyone else and it’s really fucking jarring. And the reason he sticks out like a sore thumb is because he looks like a fucking Street Fighter character design. He has all of the weird facial features and proportions that a lot of classic Street Fighter character designs tend to have. He’s ugly in exactly the same way that Street Fighter characters are ugly.
This is baffling to me. Nobody else in DMC4 looks like this. Everyone else is done out in the game’s native art style, but then there’s this Guile-Sagat-Dudley-Bison-looking mother fucker, for some reason.
Can someone explain this to me? Please. I want to understand. DMC is, like SF, a Capcom property; is that a piece of this hideous, brick-of-a-man puzzle? For real, please. If anyone knows anything, tell me.
